apexleaf.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as a Fuel Supplements store. Its page title reads "fuelsupplements.com | Fuel Supplements" even though it runs on an unrelated .shop domain. It targets people shopping for sports and health supplements, usually drawn in by ads or discount offers. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-02. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content redirected visitors elsewhere.
How the scam works
Fake supplement stores copy the branding of a known retailer and pair it with prices low enough to make buyers act quickly. The shopper fills a cart, enters shipping details and pays by card. Then nothing arrives, or a cheap substitute does, and refund requests go unanswered. The victim loses the purchase money and also hands over their name, address, phone number and full card details. Those details can be charged again later or resold.
Evidence
Seven of 91 security engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from separate vendors that reached the same conclusion on their own. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop, which matches our classification. Among blocklists, it currently appears on PhishDestroy's.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-08-04, about two months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is typical of shops that are set up, advertised and run for a short season. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from where a genuine supplement retailer's storefront would normally sit. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the browser a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the seller is real.
What to do
If you paid on apexleaf.shop, call your card issuer now. Report the charge as fraud, ask for a chargeback and request a replacement card. Watch your statements for repeat or small test charges, and treat follow-up emails or calls about your "order" or a "refund" as further scam attempts. If you created an account there with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. Security teams should block the domain at their DNS and web proxies and add it to their ad-fraud and brand-abuse filters. Any payment page passing off a known retailer's name on a newly registered domain deserves the same scrutiny.
