How the scam works
The page title, "Art for Causes | Buy art to support nonprofit organizations | Andy okay," frames the store as a charitable marketplace. That framing makes buyers less likely to question unusual pricing or an unfamiliar seller. Shops like this typically take card or wallet payments at checkout and then ship nothing, ship a cheap item that does not match the listing, or stop answering when the buyer asks for a refund. Victims lose the purchase price and often hand over card details and a home address that can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which is the strongest independent match to our classification. On 2026-10-11, VirusTotal showed 9 of 92 engines detecting it. Flagging vendors included alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar, a spread of commercial and threat-intel sources. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-14, about 85 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room for building a believable storefront before it attracts attention. The site is served from an IP geolocated to the US on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, which is registered in Georgia. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser says nothing about the seller's legitimacy.
What to do
If you paid on aokhome.shop, contact your card issuer or payment provider right away, report the charge as fraud and request a chargeback. If you entered card details, ask for a replacement card. Expect follow-up phishing that uses the name and address you gave at checkout. To support a nonprofit, donate through the organization's own channels instead of third-party art stores you cannot verify.
