It targets wine buyers who search for the brand and land on what looks like an official shop. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-01, and the site was still online and serving its storefront when checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this borrow a real brand's name, imagery and product range, then advertise prices low enough to prompt a quick purchase. The buyer fills a cart, enters a delivery address and pays by card or another method the site offers. The wine never arrives, or something unrelated turns up. Meanwhile the operator has the payment, the card details and personal information that can be resold or reused. The "store" in the domain name is the hook: it suggests an official retail outlet for Amisfield Winery, which this site is not.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a modest count, typical for a new shop clone that many engines have not yet scanned. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. It also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-12, about 16 weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it may have been set aside and launched later, or ran without notice for some time. It is hosted on Malakmadze Web LLC's network in Georgia, a long way from the winery it imitates. The free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser proves nothing about who runs the shop.
What to do
If you paid on amisfieldstore.shop, call your card issuer or bank now, report the charge as fraud and ask for a chargeback and a replacement card. Keep any order confirmations or emails as evidence. Expect follow-up phishing that uses the name and address you entered, such as fake delivery or refund messages. If you created an account there, change that password anywhere else you used it. Defenders and retailers should block the domain, and wine buyers should reach Amisfield Winery only by typing the winery's known official address themselves.
