PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-01. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this borrow a real brand's name, product photos and marketing copy, then list hardware at prices well below retail. The "amg" in the domain reads as a shorthand for ACEMAGIC, which helps the store pass a quick glance. Victims pay for a laptop or mini PC that never ships, or receive something worthless. They also hand over their name, address and card details at checkout, which can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a minority of engines, but it spans several unrelated security vendors. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, matching our classification. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-05, nearly four months before PhishDestroy caught it. That gap suggests the operators kept it quiet before promoting it to shoppers. It resolves to 193.162.133.218, on a network run by Malakmadze Web LLC, a provider registered in Georgia, with the server itself located in the US. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser, which says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
What to do
Do not place orders on amgelectronics.shop, and buy ACEMAGIC products only from the brand's official store or established retailers. If you paid by card, contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. If you used PayPal or a similar service, open a claim for an item not received. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges, and treat follow-up emails about "delivery problems" or extra fees as likely phishing. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and add it to web filters used by staff who buy hardware online.
