How the scam works
The site presents itself as a stocked retailer of popular UK beauty brands, with a "NEW IN" section and the trappings of a real store. Shoppers browse, fill a cart and pay at checkout, typically lured by prices well below the usual market rate. In schemes like this the goods either never arrive or are replaced by cheap counterfeits. The victim loses the purchase price and hands over their name, delivery address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, 8 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which independently confirms our classification. The domain appears in 2 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-14, about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the store was set up and left to collect traffic for a while rather than discarded within days.
