ambersoundplus.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as "Amber Sound - Your Pro Audio People", borrowing the Amber Sound name to attract musicians, studio owners and anyone shopping for audio equipment. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-01, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
How the scam works
Fake audio stores lure buyers with familiar branding and prices on mixers, speakers, microphones and studio gear that undercut legitimate retailers. The checkout collects the shopper's name, address and card or bank details. The goods never arrive, or something worthless is sent so tracking looks genuine. The victim loses the purchase price and exposes payment and personal data that can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Eleven of 91 VirusTotal engines flag the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Netcraft, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Gridinsoft. Detection is spread across several unrelated security companies, so the verdict does not rest on a single vendor. urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically identifies it as a fake shop, and two AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it. It is also listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-27, about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the domain was held in reserve or ran quietly before being pushed to shoppers. The server sits on the network of Malakmadze Web LLC, a Georgian provider, with the address geolocating to the United States. The free Let's Encrypt certificate only shows that the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
What to do
Do not place orders on ambersoundplus.shop. If you already paid by card, contact your bank right away to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. If you paid by bank transfer, ask your bank to attempt a recall. Expect follow-up phishing emails or fake delivery messages that use your order details, and change any password you reused when creating an account there. Defenders should block the domain and the hosting address at mail and web gateways, and report payment processors linked to the site so they can cut it off.
