How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy a real retailer's branding and catalogue, then list popular gear at prices well below the market to rush buyers into checking out. The "hub" suffix and the cheap .shop domain are meant to look like an official outlet at a glance. Victims pay by card or another method and receive nothing, a cheap counterfeit, or a fake tracking number. The card details and personal information entered at checkout are also exposed to the operators and can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-02: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but it is typical of fresh fake shops, and it includes vendors that specialise in fraud and phishing feeds. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-14, roughly three and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. Fraudulent stores often wait like this before going live. The site is hosted in Georgia on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, which is an unusual home for a store claiming to be Australia's leading motorcycle gear retailer. It uses a free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
What to do
If you placed an order, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the charge and ask for the card to be reissued. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. If you created an account on the site and reused that password elsewhere, change it there, and watch for follow-up phishing that uses your name or order details. Shoppers should buy from the retailer's established website rather than from lookalike domains. Security teams and payment providers should block the domain and report it to the impersonated brand.
