alwheel.shop is a fraudulent storefront calling itself "Top-Rated Dually Wheels and Tires | SALE PRICES | Dually Wheels". It targets pickup and heavy-duty truck owners shopping for dually wheel and tire packages, an expensive niche where a steep discount is a strong lure. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content.
How the scam works
Fake wheel shops copy the look of real aftermarket retailers and post product listings at prices well below market, with "SALE PRICES" banners to push quick decisions. The buyer adds a set to the cart and pays at checkout. Then nothing ships, or the tracking number is fake, or the buyer receives something worthless. Victims lose the purchase price and also expose their card details, name, address and phone number, which can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, matching our classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and Webroot. Most engines did not flag it, which is common for young retail scams. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-18, about 142 days before we detected it. That gap leaves plenty of time to build out a catalogue and buy ads before anyone flags the shop. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, which is unusual for a store selling truck parts to North American buyers. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the seller is real.
What to do
If you paid alwheel.shop, contact your card issuer or bank right away to dispute the charge as non-delivery or fraud, and keep your order confirmation and any emails. If you paid by bank transfer, gift card or crypto, report it to your bank and local fraud authorities quickly, because recovery is harder. Watch for phishing that uses your name and address, and do not trust "refund" offers from the shop. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and report any ads pointing to it to the ad platform.
