alvintagewear.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as カインドオルオンライン (Kindal Online), the official web store of a Japanese chain selling second-hand designer clothing. Its target is Japanese-speaking shoppers hunting for branded vintage pieces at a discount. The English domain name has nothing to do with the brand on the page, which a genuine retailer would not do. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and redirecting visitors.
How the scam works
The page copies the Japanese retailer's official title, which claims to be the "official" branded used-clothing mail-order site, so shoppers believe they are buying from a known store. Fake shops of this kind list desirable designer items at attractive prices and push buyers through a checkout that collects payment and personal details. Victims then receive nothing, or receive a cheap item unrelated to the order. They lose the purchase money, and their name, address, phone number and card data are left with the operators for later fraud or follow-up phishing.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which independently confirms our classification. On 2026-10-10, 5 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may still open the site without a warning. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it. Among blocklists, PhishDestroy is so far the only one carrying it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-28, about three months before we detected it. That lead time is typical for shops that are set up, filled with stolen catalogue content and promoted before they draw attention. It is hosted at 212.52.28.22 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States, far from the Japanese audience it courts. The Let's Encrypt certificate shows a padlock in the browser, but it only encrypts the connection and says nothing about whether the seller is legitimate.
What to do
If you paid on this site, contact your card issuer or bank right away, report the transaction as fraud and ask for a chargeback. Do not wait for a delivery that will not come. If you created an account, change that password everywhere you reused it. Expect fake shipping or refund messages aimed at the contact details you entered. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, add it to web filters, and warn Japanese-speaking users that the real Kindal store does not run on this address.
