How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy the look of a real retailer, list products at tempting discounts and push visitors through a normal-looking checkout. The buyer pays by card or another method, then receives nothing, a cheap item unrelated to the order, or a fake tracking number that leads nowhere. Card details and personal data entered at checkout can also be reused for further fraud. The loss is the payment itself, plus any exposure of the card and address details typed into the form.
Evidence
On 2026-10-01, six of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it is typical for young fake shops, and it comes from several unrelated vendors. urlscan.io independently returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-04, about 16 weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the storefront may have been set up in advance or run quietly before being flagged. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
