How the scam works

Shops like this usually list appliances below normal market prices and take payment at a polished checkout. Then the product never ships, a cheap substitute arrives, or a tracking number leads nowhere. Victims lose the purchase price. They also hand over their name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for further fraud.
