Its page title, "Shop Silk Botanicals & Artificial Flowers | Afloral", is meant to convince decorators and event planners that they are buying from the genuine store. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-24. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its storefront.
How the scam works
Shops like this borrow a known retailer's name, product photos and catalogue. They then advertise steep discounts to pull in buyers who search for the brand or click social media ads. At checkout the victim pays by card or another method, and the order either never ships or arrives as cheap goods unrelated to what was shown. Beyond the lost payment, the card number, billing address and contact details typed into the checkout can be reused for fraud or sold.
Evidence
On 2026-10-02, 10 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Those vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Most engines had not caught up, but several major security vendors agree on the verdict. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-28, almost four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That pattern suggests it was set up in advance rather than spun up and used right away. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, a long way from the real brand's market. The free Let's Encrypt certificate only encrypts the connection, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is real.
