How the scam works
Fake band stores copy the look of an official merch shop and fill it with apparel, vinyl and collectibles, often at prices or with "exclusive" items that feel too good to pass up. The buyer enters card details, shipping address and contact information at checkout. Typically the goods never arrive, or something cheap and unrelated turns up. Victims lose the purchase price, and the payment details and personal data they typed in can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-18: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but the vendors span independent reputation and endpoint products. urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically identifies it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-20, about seven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway storefronts that are stood up quickly for a campaign. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, with no apparent connection to the band or its official retail partners. Its free automated certificate puts a padlock in the browser, but that padlock says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
What to do
If you placed an order, contact your card issuer or payment provider now. Report the charge as fraud, request a chargeback and ask for a replacement card. Watch your statements for further unauthorized charges, and treat follow-up emails about "shipping problems" or "customs fees" as attempts to take more money. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. Defenders should block the domain at web and DNS filters and add it to e-commerce fraud watchlists.
