Overview

1inchpromowallet1.atoms.world is an impersonation phishing page posing as 1inch, the decentralized exchange aggregator. Its subdomain name, built around a "promo wallet", is aimed at 1inch users and DeFi traders hoping for a bonus or giveaway. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-07-27. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13, with its content blocked by the provider, and was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Promo-themed 1inch clones use the brand's look to present a fake reward, airdrop or wallet bonus. To claim it, the visitor is asked to connect a wallet and sign a transaction or approval, or to enter a recovery phrase. Any of these can hand an attacker control of the tokens in the wallet. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning interstitial rather than 1inch branding, while we classify the underlying site as 1inch impersonation.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 4 of 89 engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-13: Chong Lua Dao, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, PhishFort and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but PhishFort specializes in crypto brand protection, which makes its verdict especially relevant here. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL with the DBL_PHISH tag, an independent confirmation of phishing. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The page sits on a subdomain of atoms.world, which is registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC. It was served from Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated in Canada. Cloudflare is also the party that blocked the content, which is why visitors now see its phishing warning. The Google Trust Services WE1 certificate only shows that the connection was encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to this page, use a token-approval checker to revoke any approvals or permissions you granted it, then move remaining funds to a fresh wallet. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised: create a new one on a clean device and transfer whatever is left immediately. Reach 1inch only through bookmarks you created yourself, and ignore any "promo wallet" or bonus offers. Defenders should block the full atoms.world subdomain pattern and alert on brand-plus-"promo" hostnames that imitate 1inch.
