PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

worldwsepro.com is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself under the name "WSE" and uses "pro" branding to look like an official platform. It appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which means it targets cryptocurrency users and wallet holders. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-23. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages like this copy the look and name of a trusted service, here "WSE", so visitors believe they have reached the real platform. Victims are typically asked to log in, hand over account or wallet details, connect a wallet, or deposit funds into what looks like their own account. Anything entered goes straight to the operators. Stolen credentials let them take over accounts, and deposits or wallet signatures give them direct access to the victim's crypto, which usually cannot be recovered.

Evidence

Eleven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03, including Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. These are independent vendors with separate detection pipelines, so their agreement makes a false positive unlikely. MetaMask and SEAL, both focused on crypto threats, have also blocklisted the site alongside PhishDestroy, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-21 through Cloudflare, Inc. and was being flagged as phishing two days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for a quick campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden from view. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt. The padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password or login details on worldwsepro.com, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the site's token approvals with a trusted approval checker. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet if you typed in a seed phrase. Do not send any further deposits or "fees" the site or its contacts ask for. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, look for it in mail and web logs, and report it to Cloudflare as phishing.
