Overview

usdt-verify.com is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the USDT (Tether) name to appear official. Its page title, "USDT Donation - Scan", is aimed at people who hold or receive USDT. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Sites like this present themselves as a USDT verification or scanning tool, sometimes framed as a donation drive, so the visitor believes they are dealing with a legitimate Tether-related service. The visitor is typically asked to connect a wallet, sign a request or send funds to "verify" an address or complete a donation. In schemes of this type, the signature or approval gives the operator permission to move the victim's tokens. A direct transfer simply hands the money over. Either way, the loss is the USDT or other assets sent or approved, and on-chain transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Independent detection is still limited. On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 3 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker.
