Overview

quantumexpressinc.sbs presents itself as "Quantum Express Courier Company," a supposed premium global shipping firm. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page that mimics a generic transportation brand to win the trust of people expecting a delivery or arranging one. We first flagged it on 2026-10-07. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still responding, but its DNS no longer pointed to active content.

How the scam works

The page title, "Welcome to Quantum Express Courier Company - Premium Global Shipping Solutions," is designed to make an invented carrier look established. Fake courier sites like this usually show a tracking page for a parcel that does not exist. The parcel is then held for "customs," "insurance" or "clearance" fees, and those payments are often requested in cryptocurrency or by untraceable transfer. These sites are frequently paired with fraudulent marketplace sales, romance or investment schemes, where the scammer points the victim to the fake courier to make the deal seem real. Victims lose the fees they pay and any card details, identity documents or personal information they submit.

Evidence

On 2026-10-11, 13 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a meaningful spread across unrelated vendors, so most major browser and endpoint protections should warn on it. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to a generic transportation brand. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it independently.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameSilo, LLC on 2026-07-31, about ten weeks before we detected it. That gap fits an operator who prepares domains in advance before putting them into use. The site was hosted on OVH SAS in France, using a cheap .sbs domain with no connection to any real shipping company.

What to do

If you paid a delivery, customs or release fee to this site, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute it. If you paid in cryptocurrency, report the transaction to the exchange you sent from. Assume any ID scans or personal details you uploaded are compromised, and watch for identity fraud and follow-up "recovery" scams. If a seller or online contact sent you here, treat that whole deal as fraudulent and stop sending money. Defenders should block quantumexpressinc.sbs and watch for look-alike courier domains on low-cost TLDs.

How do phishing scams typically work?
