PhishDestroy threat report
mail.fumblbags.com is an impersonation phishing page. It presents itself as 'Bags Fumbled — See what you left on the table', a tool that claims to show crypto users the gains they missed. It targets wallet holders curious about past trades and was served from a 'mail' subdomain rather than the bare domain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was no longer resolving.
The page plays on regret. A 'see what you left on the table' tool invites visitors to check their own history, and on a lookalike site that check is usually the trap. Victims are typically asked to connect a wallet or sign a request. That can hand an attacker token approvals or a signed transfer, so the wallet's contents are lost.
Nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-01. The vendors include ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That detection rate is modest, but it carries weight because crypto-focused feeds agree. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users are warned before the page loads. Spamhaus also lists it in its domain blocklist under the spam category.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-03 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, 22 days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains built for a single campaign. The site was hosted on Ultahost, Inc. in the Netherlands and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about its legitimacy.
If you connected a wallet or signed anything on this page, revoke all recent token approvals and permits with a trusted approval checker right away. If you can't be sure what you signed, move your remaining funds to a fresh wallet. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and empty it immediately from a clean device. Defenders should block the domain and its subdomains at DNS and the mail gateway, and watch for similar 'missed gains' lookalike domains, since the 'mail' prefix suggests the lure may have spread by email.
