PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

grupopgo.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "Cloudflare Registrar". It is aimed at people who manage domains and DNS through Cloudflare, including operators of crypto projects, exchanges and wallet front-ends. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Cloudflare-themed lures usually arrive as an urgent notice about a domain renewal, a transfer, a billing failure or a DNS problem. The link leads to a page styled like the registrar's dashboard that asks the visitor to sign in. Any email, password or one-time code entered there goes to the operators. A captured Cloudflare login can give an attacker control of the victim's domains and DNS. That access lets them redirect a legitimate site, including a crypto project's site, to a drainer or fake login, or intercept its email.

Evidence

On 2026-09-20, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Detection by several independent vendors makes a false positive unlikely, although most engines had not yet caught up. The domain appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2023-11-15, almost three years before PhishDestroy detected it. That makes it an aged domain, which tends to pass reputation filters more easily than a fresh registration. It is registered through Cloudflare, Inc. and resolves to Cloudflare's own network in the US, so the fake Cloudflare page is served from genuine Cloudflare infrastructure. Its Google Trust Services certificate is the kind issued automatically to sites behind Cloudflare. The padlock confirms only an encrypted connection, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered credentials on this page, change your Cloudflare password immediately and sign out all active sessions. Reset or re-enroll two-factor authentication, and use a hardware key if possible. Review your account's audit log, DNS records, nameservers, API tokens, page rules and transfer locks for changes you did not make. Revoke any API tokens you do not recognize. If you reused the password anywhere else, change it there too. Security teams should block the domain and alert staff who handle domain administration. They should also search mail logs for registrar-themed messages that link to it.
