PhishDestroy threat report
ecosystem-pendle.guru is an impersonation phishing page posing as Pendle, the DeFi protocol for trading and fixing yield. It copied Pendle's own tagline in its page title, "Pendle - Liberating Yield", to pass as the real app for anyone arriving from a link or search ad. PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-27, the same day the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-28, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
Pages like this reproduce the look of the Pendle interface and prompt visitors to connect a wallet, often to claim a reward, check eligibility or manage a yield position. The wallet then receives a request that resembles a routine Pendle action but is actually a token approval, permit signature or transfer that hands control of the victim's assets to the attacker. Once signed, tokens can be moved out without any further interaction. The "ecosystem-" prefix and the .guru extension are meant to suggest an official Pendle subdomain or partner site.
Wallet-security blocklists caught this site faster than general antivirus engines. MetaMask and SEAL both list it alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users would have seen a warning before connecting. On VirusTotal, only alphaMountain.ai out of 91 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-28, which is very low coverage for a confirmed phishing page. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through Eranet International Limited on 2026-09-27 and was being used for phishing that same day. That speed is typical of a disposable campaign domain built to collect victims before blocklists catch up. It sat behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada, which hides the origin server. A free Let's Encrypt certificate gave it a padlock icon, and that padlock says nothing about who runs the site.
If you connected a wallet to this site, check its token approvals with a revocation tool right away and revoke any you do not recognise, especially recent ones tied to Pendle-related tokens. If you signed a transaction or permit, move any remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and stop using it. Reach Pendle only by typing its known address or using a saved bookmark. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike "ecosystem-" or "claim-" variants built on the same Pendle branding.
