PhishDestroy threat report
The domain hosts a fake online shop that pretends to be the official Blizzard gear store. It copies Blizzard’s branding to lure Blizzard fans and gamers. PhishDestroy first detected the site on 2026-10-17. The site was still live with active content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The page title advertises “The Official Blizzard Gear Store – Game Merchandise”, convincing visitors they are on a legitimate Blizzard merchandise site. When a user attempts to purchase, the form captures login credentials, email addresses and payment details, which are then forwarded to the attackers. The stolen Blizzard account data can be used to hijack accounts, access linked payment methods or sell the information on underground markets.
VirusTotal flagged the domain in 13 of 92 scanners, with vendors such as BitDefender, Fortinet, G‑Data and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker reporting it as malicious. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically marked the page as a fake shop. PhishDestroy added the domain to its blocklist, and Open Threat Exchange has generated four pulses referencing the site.
The domain was registered on 2026-06-14 through Dynadot Inc., giving the operators roughly four months before PhishDestroy’s first sighting. It is hosted on IP 212.52.28.18, part of the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. The site uses a Let’s Encrypt certificate (issuer “Let’s Encrypt / YE1”), a common choice for short‑lived phishing sites.
Anyone who entered Blizzard account credentials should change those passwords immediately and enable two‑factor authentication on the Blizzard account. If payment information or a linked wallet was provided, contact the financial institution to dispute unauthorized charges and monitor for fraud. Security teams should block the domain at the DNS and proxy level, add it to internal phishing blocklists, and monitor for any related domains registered with the same registrar or hosting provider.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
