Overview

bitrgift.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Google, with its page title reading simply "Google". It targets people who trust the Google brand, and its listing on crypto-focused blocklists points to wallet users and crypto holders as part of its audience. PhishDestroy first detected the domain on 2026-10-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and its content reachable through a redirect.

How the scam works

Pages like this copy Google's look and branding so a visitor believes they are on a genuine Google service, then ask them to sign in or confirm account details. Whatever is typed in goes straight to the operators, not to Google. A stolen Google account gives access to email, saved passwords, cloud files and password-reset links for other services, including crypto exchanges and any wallet backups stored online. Victims can lose control of the account itself and everything connected to it.

Evidence

On 2026-10-15, VirusTotal showed 15 of 92 engines flagging the domain, including ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List as DBL_PHISH. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain is blocked by MetaMask and SEAL. It also appears in 9 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-06 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, about five weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 62.60.226.163 on AS214351 FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED, hosted in Germany. Its TLS certificate comes from Let's Encrypt (YR2). The padlock shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you visited the site and entered nothing, close it and do not return. If you typed in your Google password or a verification code, change the password immediately from a device you trust. Then review active sessions and remove any you don't recognize, check recovery email, phone and forwarding settings, and turn on a passkey or authenticator-based two-factor login. Change passwords on any exchange or service that relies on that email for resets, and move any seed phrases or wallet backups out of cloud storage. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS, proxy and mail gateways, and search logs for users who reached it since 2026-10-15.
