How the scam works
Fake furniture shops copy a real brand's product photos, descriptions and prices, then add discounts or "sale" banners to push quick checkouts. The victim pays for a sofa that never ships, or receives something cheap and unrelated. The store also collects their name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for fraud. Big-ticket items such as $699-and-up sofas make each fake order costly, and refund requests usually go unanswered.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but Netcraft and Fortinet are well-established fraud detectors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist entry.

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-16, nearly five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a store that was set up quietly and then promoted later.
