PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-17, four days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.
How the scam works
The page is titled "kakobuy spreadsheet Italia | Guida stagionale all'abbigliamento", which presents it as an Italian seasonal clothing guide and Kakobuy product spreadsheet rather than an official Kakobuy store. Pages like this use a familiar brand and a helpful-looking catalogue to win trust. They then steer visitors toward lookalike login screens, fake checkout or agent pages, or links that are not controlled by the real brand. Victims can lose account credentials, payment card details, or money paid for orders that never arrive. The data they enter can also be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Independent vendor coverage is currently absent. VirusTotal returned 0 detections out of 92 engines on 2026-10-17, so a clean scan there should not be read as a sign of safety. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists the domain. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows that other researchers are tracking it as well.

What to do
If you visited the page, do not follow its links to buy, log in or pay. Close it and reach Kakobuy only by typing its official address yourself. If you entered a password, change it at once on Kakobuy and on any other service where you reuse it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges.
