kako-pl.motorcycles is an impersonation phishing page that trades on the Kakobuy name, presenting itself as a Kakobuy Spreadsheet guide for Romania. It targets shoppers who use Kakobuy, a purchasing-agent service, and who look for curated product spreadsheets. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-16, three days after it was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.
How the scam works
The page title, "Kakobuy Spreadsheet România — Ghid, Categorii și Sfaturi", presents the site as a Romanian-language guide with categories and tips. The title shows a guide page, while we classified the domain as impersonation of the Kakobuy brand. Pages built around agent spreadsheets lure buyers with product lists and links, then send them to imitation login, signup or checkout steps that look like the real service. Anyone who follows them can lose their Kakobuy account credentials, account balance or payment card details, or can pay for orders that never arrive.
Evidence
When checked on 2026-10-16, none of the 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, so commercial scanners offered no independent confirmation at that point. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist, based on our own classification of the site as Kakobuy impersonation. Low vendor coverage is common for newly registered domains in their first days online.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-13 through Spaceship, Inc. It resolves to 52.37.165.222 on the AMAZON-02 network operated by Amazon.com, Inc. in the US. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not log in, register or pay through kako-pl.motorcycles. Open Kakobuy only by typing its official address yourself. If you entered Kakobuy credentials here, change that password immediately, along with any other account that uses the same password, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS, proxy and mail gateways, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider for takedown.
