Overview

tokenimpro-cdn-cache-hk18.club is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "imToken | Ethereum". It targets imToken mobile wallet users and Ethereum holders. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-16, and it was still online and serving content when checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page copies imToken branding under an Ethereum label. Its domain mixes "tokenimpro" with cache and CDN wording to look like legitimate wallet infrastructure. Pages like this usually say the wallet needs verification, syncing or an upgrade, then ask for the recovery phrase or private key, or ask the visitor to connect and sign a transaction. Anyone who hands over a seed phrase gives the operator full control of the wallet. Assets can then be swept to attacker addresses, and that cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Google Safe Browsing lists the domain as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING. urlscan.io rates it malicious and detected imToken branding on the page. On VirusTotal, 4 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-16: CRDF, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. That count is still low, so many tools may not warn visitors yet. The domain appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses and is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through Dynadot Inc, four days before PhishDestroy flagged it. It is hosted at 156.225.27.69 on the COGNETCLOUD-2 network (cognetcloud INC), which geolocates to Hong Kong. Its TLS certificate comes from Let's Encrypt (YR2). The padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

Close the page and do not enter anything on it. If you typed your recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed a transaction, revoke token approvals with a trusted allowance checker and watch for unexpected outgoing transfers. Install imToken only from official app stores. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, add it to DNS and proxy filters, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider.
