revoketx.xyz is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself as "Revoke — BOT Chain allowance revoker". It targeted BOT Chain wallet users who wanted to clean up old token permissions, which are exactly the people trying to protect themselves. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. The site has been offline since 2026-09-23, and its DNS was still inactive when we last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Real allowance revokers let you connect a wallet, list the contracts allowed to spend your tokens, and cancel those permissions. A fake revoker copies that workflow. The victim connects a wallet expecting to remove risky approvals, but is then asked to sign transactions or messages that grant new spending rights or transfer assets. Because the user came to the site to sign approval-related requests, a malicious prompt looks routine. Once signed, the attacker can move the approved tokens out of the wallet without further confirmation.
Evidence
Wallet-focused defenders acted on this domain. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance both blocklist it alongside PhishDestroy, so MetaMask users were warned before the page loaded. On VirusTotal, 7 of 89 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-13: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a modest share, which is typical for a crypto-specific lure only days old. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-08, just three days before we detected it. The site went dark about two weeks later, a short lifespan that fits a disposable phishing domain. It was hosted on Amazon's network in the US at 216.198.79.1. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page a padlock, which says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to revoketx.xyz, use a trusted revocation tool or your block explorer's approval checker to review every token allowance on that wallet. Cancel any approvals you do not recognize, especially recent ones. If you signed anything on the site, move the remaining assets to a new wallet with a fresh seed phrase, because you cannot know exactly what was authorized. Never enter a seed phrase on any revoke site. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, and watch for look-alike revoker domains aimed at BOT Chain users.
