PhishDestroy threat report
plug.contact is an impersonation phishing page built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with information they would never give a stranger. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-10. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves and the phishing content is live, so anyone reaching it today sees a working page.
Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and flow of a service the victim already uses, then insert a login form, a "verification" step or a payment request at the point where the real service would. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operators: account passwords, one-time codes, personal details or, on crypto-themed clones, wallet recovery phrases. The page carries the bare title "BABE", which names no brand, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing. No specific phishing kit has been tied to it.
Detection by security vendors is still thin. Five of 89 VirusTotal engines (alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar) marked the domain malicious in a check on 2026-09-21. The overwhelming majority of scanners will therefore let it through without warning. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, and three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, which shows other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. Among blocklists, PhishDestroy currently carries it.
The domain was registered on 2026-01-06 through Tucows Domains Inc., roughly seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests a domain held in reserve or reused rather than one spun up for a single burst. It is hosted on the Materialism s.r.l. network, a Romanian-registered provider, with the server located in Sweden. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the page.
If you entered a password on plug.contact, change it immediately on the real service and anywhere you reused it, then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out other sessions. If you typed a one-time code, review recent logins and account changes. If you made a payment or entered card details, contact your bank to dispute the charge and block the card. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the funds to a new one. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, add it to mail filtering given the Spamhaus spam listing, and check logs for users who visited it after 2026-08-10.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
