How the scam works
Spreadsheet-style pages are popular among shopping agent users because they list products and links to order through the agent. An impersonation page copies that format and the Oopbuy name to look like a trusted community resource. It then steers visitors toward fake login, sign-up or checkout flows that it controls. Victims who follow those links can hand over account credentials, personal details or payment card information. The page title presents a purchasing guide rather than an obvious login page, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

When VirusTotal checked the domain on 2026-10-17, none of its 92 engines flagged it. That reflects how new the site is, not a clean verdict. The domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist and appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses, which shows independent threat-intelligence attention.

The domain was registered on 2026-10-16 through Spaceship, Inc., one day before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 52.37.165.222 on the AMAZON-02 network operated by Amazon.com, Inc. in the US.
