How the scam works
Impersonation sites like this copy the name and look of a trading brand so that visitors believe they have reached the real platform. The usual aim is to get the victim to sign up or log in, which hands over email addresses, passwords and sometimes one-time codes. Some sites go further and push victims to fund an account. Money sent to a fake trading site goes straight to the operators. Any balance shown afterwards is only numbers on a screen, often followed by demands for extra "fees" before a withdrawal.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, URLQuery and VIPRE. That is a modest share, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page through. The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-07-04, about twelve weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was either held in reserve or quietly promoted before it came to attention. The site is hosted on Hetzner Online infrastructure in Finland. It uses a free automated certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you created an account or logged in on novatrading.online, change that password at once, along with any other account that shares it. Turn on two-factor authentication, ideally app-based rather than SMS. If you sent funds, keep the transaction details and report the theft to your bank or payment provider and to local police. Do not pay any "release" or "withdrawal" fee the operators or so-called recovery agents demand.
