msakpets.com presents itself as the web login for Kaiyun (开云), a Chinese-language online betting brand. Its page title reads "开云kaiyun网页版登陆-开云kaiyun（中国）", which translates to "Kaiyun web version login, Kaiyun (China)". The page is aimed at Chinese-speaking users who expect to sign in to that service. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-12, and it was still online and serving content when we last checked it on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Lookalike login pages for betting brands like Kaiyun reach victims through search results, chat groups and promotional messages. They then ask for an account name and password, and often phone numbers or payment details. Anything typed into the form goes to the operators, not to Kaiyun. Some clones go further and invite deposits into a fake account balance that can never be withdrawn. Victims can lose their real account credentials, their personal data and any money they send through the site.
Evidence
At the 2026-10-12 check, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Dr.Web, CRDF, CyRadar, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of one another and several run their own phishing research. The domain also appears in 30 AlienVault OTX pulses, which means multiple researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity. Among public blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-05-29 through Metaregistrar BV, about four and a half months before we detected it. Pages like this are often parked for some time before they are put to use. It is hosted in Hong Kong on the POWER LINE DATACENTER network, close to the Chinese-speaking audience the page targets. Its Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted and shows nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you signed in on msakpets.com, change your Kaiyun password right away from the brand's genuine channel. Also change it on any other service where you used the same password, and turn on two-factor authentication where it is offered. If you entered card or bank details or made a deposit, contact your bank or payment provider to dispute the charge. Do not pay any "verification" or "withdrawal" fee the site later asks for. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to mail and chat filtering.
