lmtoken.wchmn.com is a phishing page posing as imToken, the popular self-custody crypto wallet. The page title reads simply "imToken". The hostname swaps the letter "i" for an "l", so "lmtoken" passes for the real name at a glance, especially on a phone screen. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-13. As of 2026-10-19 the server still responds, but the phishing content no longer loads.
How the scam works
Fake wallet pages like this one copy the look of the real imToken site and push visitors toward a fake app download or an "import" or "restore wallet" form. Whatever the victim types there, whether a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase or a private key, goes straight to the operators. With that phrase they can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it across every chain it holds, and the theft cannot be reversed. Any app offered as an imToken download from such a page should be treated as malicious.
Evidence
On 2026-10-17, VirusTotal showed 17 of 92 security engines flagging the domain. That is a meaningful share for a single subdomain on an otherwise obscure parent. The vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, CRDF and Gridinsoft. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it, so many browsers and wallets may not warn visitors yet.
Infrastructure
The parent domain wchmn.com was registered on 2025-11-15 through Metaregistrar BV, nearly eleven months before PhishDestroy detected this page. A long-held domain with a brand-styled subdomain can sit dormant and avoid the scrutiny that newly registered domains attract. The site is hosted on Hostinger International Limited's network at an IP located in Malaysia.
What to do
If you entered a recovery phrase or private key on this page, treat that wallet as fully compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh phrase from the official imToken app and move any remaining assets to it immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker. If you installed an app from the page, uninstall it and reinstall imToken only from the official app store. Defenders should block lmtoken.wchmn.com and the hosting IP 72.62.196.92, watch for other lookalike subdomains under wchmn.com, and report the page to the hosting provider and registrar.
