PhishDestroy threat report
luxora.qpon is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself as an Adobe "PDF Viewer". It targeted people who expected to open a shared document, including office workers, invoice recipients and anyone with an Adobe or email account. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-07. The site has been offline since 2026-10-11 and was still unreachable when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake PDF viewers usually reach victims through an email or chat message claiming a document is waiting for them. The link opens a page styled with Adobe branding, often with a blurred preview, and says the file can only be viewed after the visitor signs in. Whatever is typed into that sign-in form goes to the attackers. With those credentials they can take over the mailbox, reset passwords on linked services, and send the same lure to the victim's contacts.
On 2026-10-11, 17 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, DNS8, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data, so the detections come from several independent security companies rather than one source. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Adobe branding on it, which confirms the impersonation. The domain is also listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist and appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-29 through Dominet (HK) Limited, just eight days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of disposable phishing domains that are set up quickly and used briefly. The page ran on Oracle Corporation cloud infrastructure in the United States. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gave it a padlock icon in the browser, which shows that a padlock does not mean a site is safe.
If you entered an email or Adobe password on this page, change it right away, and change it on every other site where you used the same password. Turn on two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. Check your mailbox for forwarding rules or filters you did not create, and warn your contacts in case the lure was sent from your account. Security teams should block luxora.qpon, search mail logs for messages containing the domain, and reset credentials for any users who clicked the link.
The linked repository preserves daily zone observations across seven ShortDot-operated TLDs, including registration volume and abuse-related indicators. This registry context is supporting background and is not an independent detection for the domain in this report.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.
