leibehn.com poses as AOK, the German statutory health insurer. Its page is titled "Ernährungsberatung: Unsere Leistungen | AOK", which copies AOK's nutrition counseling service pages, so it targets insured members and German-speaking visitors who expect to deal with their health insurer. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-14. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves, but the page content no longer loads.
How the scam works
The domain name has no connection to AOK. It borrows the insurer's branding and a German service page so visitors trust it enough to hand over information. Health-insurer impersonation pages usually collect login credentials for member portals, insurance numbers, contact details, or bank and payment data, often in exchange for a promised consultation, refund or benefit. Whatever a victim enters goes to the operators, who can use it for account takeover, identity fraud, or more convincing follow-up phishing in the insurer's name.
Evidence
On 2026-09-24, VirusTotal showed 15 of 89 security engines flagging the domain as malicious. Those engines include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and Gridinsoft. That is a solid minority from vendors with separate detection pipelines, not a single outlier. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, PhishDestroy currently lists it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-06-12, about three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain that was registered, then set up and put to use later. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with an address that geolocates to Canada. Because of that proxy, the operators' real hosting is not visible from the outside.
What to do
If you entered your AOK portal login on this site, change that password right away and turn on two-factor authentication. Do the same anywhere else you reused the password. If you submitted your insurance number, personal details or bank information, call AOK on a number you find yourself and warn your bank. Watch for unexpected direct debits and for calls or emails that use your data to sound legitimate. Security teams should block leibehn.com, search proxy and DNS logs for past visits by users, and alert staff in German-speaking regions to fake insurer pages.
