Overview

htx-logen.created.app is a credential phishing page that imitates the sign-in screen of HTX, the cryptocurrency exchange, and targets its account holders. The misspelled "logen" in the hostname is meant to pass as "login" at a glance. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

The page is titled "HTX Login™ – Fast" and is built to look like a quick way into an HTX account. Victims usually reach it through ads, search results or messages. Whatever they type, typically email or phone, password and one-time 2FA codes, goes straight to the operators. With a live code in hand, attackers can log in to the real exchange before the code expires, change security settings and withdraw the victim's crypto balance.

Evidence

Six of 92 VirusTotal engines classified the page as malicious on 2026-10-07: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Kaspersky, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a modest count, so many browsers and security tools may still let it load. Crypto-focused blocklists give stronger backing. Besides PhishDestroy, both MetaMask and SEAL list the domain, which means wallet users relying on those protections get a warning.

Infrastructure

The page sits on a subdomain of created.app, a shared hosting platform. The 2023-07-12 registration date through Name.com, Inc. belongs to that parent domain, not to the operators. Any user of the platform can spin up a disposable subdomain like this one without registering a domain of their own. Traffic resolves to 216.150.1.1 on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US.

What to do

If you entered HTX credentials here, sign in to HTX directly through its official app or a saved bookmark and change your password right away. Then reset 2FA, sign out all active sessions, and review withdrawal addresses, API keys and recent account activity. Change the password anywhere else you reused it, and contact HTX support if you see transfers you did not make. Defenders should block the hostname and report the subdomain to the created.app platform. They should also watch for lookalike HTX login pages using similar misspellings.
