PhishDestroy threat report
bigagnesdirect.shop is a counterfeit storefront that borrows the name of Big Agnes, the American maker of tents, sleeping bags and camping gear. The "direct" in the domain and the page title "Mother of Comfort | Big Agnes | Big Agnes" are designed to suggest an official factory outlet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
Fake brand shops copy the look of a real retailer and advertise steep discounts, usually through social media ads or search results. The shopper picks products, enters a delivery address and pays by card. In return they get nothing, a cheap item that is nothing like the one advertised, or tracking details that lead nowhere. The money is gone, and the shop now holds the buyer's name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for more fraud.
On 2026-10-19, 7 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That count is modest, but these are independent vendors, including Netcraft, which specialises in brand abuse. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it as well.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-26, almost five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room for the domain to have been held in reserve or to have taken victims before it was caught. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, which has no connection to the real US brand. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the browser padlock, but that padlock does not show the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from this site, contact your card issuer now to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as proof. Be wary of follow-up calls or messages about "delivery problems" or refunds, because the scammers have your contact details. Buy Big Agnes products only from the brand's own website or retailers you already know. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, and add the domain to filters for ads and email links.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
