Overview

How the scam works

Personalised products give a fake shop a ready excuse for delays. Buyers upload a family photo, pay for a "made-to-order" engraved crystal, and are told production takes time while the window for a card chargeback narrows. Shops of this kind typically deliver nothing, or ship a cheap item that looks nothing like the listing. Victims lose the purchase price and hand over their name, address, email and payment details, which can later be used for follow-up fraud.

On VirusTotal, 7 of 92 engines flagged it on 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and URLQuery.
