Its Spanish-language title is "Cosmética, Cuidado Anti-edad y Perfumes | Elizabeth Arden", which points at Spanish-speaking shoppers looking for skincare, anti-aging products and fragrance. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-13. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Fake brand shops borrow a well-known cosmetics name and its product catalogue, then lure buyers with tempting prices to a checkout the brand has nothing to do with. The shopper enters a name, delivery address, email and card details. The operators keep the payment, and the card data can be reused or sold. Usually no order arrives, or a cheap substitute does. A .shop domain with an invented name like bethglow, rather than anything Elizabeth Arden operates, is the main giveaway.
Evidence
On 2026-10-17, VirusTotal showed 9 of 92 engines flagging the domain. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but it is a broad mix of independent web-reputation and phishing feeds. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-08, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a domain held in reserve or used quietly before scaling up. It resolves to 23.252.79.117, an address geolocated in the US on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, a provider registered in Georgia.
