bentstylehousehub.shop is a fake online store that presents itself as Bent, a seller of shoes and bags. Its Dutch-language page title is "Schoenen & tassen online kopen | Gratis retour | Bent", which translates to "Buy shoes and bags online | Free returns". That points to Dutch-speaking shoppers as the target. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-13, and it was still live and serving content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this one copy the look and language of a real retailer, then advertise steep discounts through ads or social media. The "Gratis retour" (free returns) promise in the page title is meant to make the shopper feel there is no risk in ordering. The victim pays at checkout and receives nothing, or receives a cheap item unrelated to the order. In both cases the payment card details and personal address entered on the site end up with the operators, who can reuse or sell them.
Evidence
urlscan.io rates the site malicious and specifically flags it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 7 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and Webroot. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-13, about four months before we detected it. A registration that sits unused for months before going live is a common pattern for disposable scam storefronts. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from the Dutch audience it addresses. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate means the browser padlock only confirms an encrypted connection. It does not show that the shop is legitimate.
What to do
If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. Treat follow-up emails about "delivery problems" or extra fees as a second scam attempt, and do not pay them. If you created an account, change that password anywhere else you reused it. Security teams and payment providers should block the domain and report it to consumer-fraud authorities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
