PhishDestroy threat report
bellybandsstore.shop is an impersonation storefront posing as Belly Bands, an Australian seller of maternity support garments. Its page title reads "Belly Bands Made in Australia for Pregnancy, Postpartum & C-section", which targets pregnant women and new mothers shopping for recovery wear. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-13. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its shop content.
The site copies the branding and product range of a niche maternity retailer. Shoppers searching for a C-section or postpartum band believe they are buying from the real Australian maker. Copycat stores like this typically take card payments for goods that never arrive or that arrive as cheap substitutes. Along the way they also collect names, delivery addresses, phone numbers and card details that can be reused for fraud. The victim loses the purchase price and control over the personal and payment details entered at checkout.
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors come from several unrelated companies. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses alongside the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-10, about five months before we detected it. This is consistent with a store that ran quietly, possibly building search or ad traffic, before being flagged. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, an unlikely location for a brand marketed as Australian-made. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the seller is genuine.
Do not place orders on bellybandsstore.shop. If you paid there, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the charge and ask about replacing the card. Keep any order confirmation emails as evidence for the dispute. Expect phishing emails or texts using the delivery details you entered, and do not click tracking or refund links that arrive unexpectedly. Security teams and retailers should block the domain, and the genuine brand may wish to report the copied listing and trademark use to the registrar and host.
