PhishDestroy threat report
login.authhmicrosoftonline.sbs is a credential phishing domain built to look like Microsoft's sign-in service. It targets anyone with a Microsoft work or personal account. The doubled "h" in "authh" and the cheap .sbs extension mark it as a lookalike rather than a Microsoft property. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-13. On 2026-10-19 the site still responded, but its DNS was reported inactive.
Lookalike login hosts like this one usually arrive through emails about shared documents, expiring passwords or blocked mail. The victim lands on what appears to be a Microsoft sign-in prompt. Whatever email and password they type goes straight to the operator, who can then take over the mailbox, cloud files and any services tied to that account. Kits of this kind often relay one-time codes in real time, so a second factor alone may not stop the theft. The page title when we checked was a YouTube listing for Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," which does not match the Microsoft phishing classification.
On 2026-10-17, VirusTotal showed 15 of 92 engines flagging the domain. The flagging vendors were alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data and LevelBlue. Agreement across that many independent vendors is solid support for the classification. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically detected the Microsoft brand. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.
The domain was registered through NameSilo, LLC on 2026-10-02, eleven days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a domain bought for a single campaign. It points to 178.128.177.148 on DigitalOcean's network in the US, a rented cloud server that is easy to spin up and abandon. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the page a padlock, so the padlock is no sign of legitimacy here.
If you entered a Microsoft password on this domain, change it right away from a device you trust and sign out of all other sessions. Then review your two-step verification methods and remove any phone numbers or authenticator apps you did not add. Check your mailbox for forwarding rules or inbox rules you did not create. Change the password on any other service where you reused it. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and reset credentials for any user whose traffic reached it.
