faydd.com is an impersonation phishing site that copies the look of a legitimate service so visitors trust it with sensitive information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-11. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving content, so anyone landing on it now faces a live page.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the branding, layout and wording of a service people already use, then ask for a login, recovery details or a payment that goes straight to the operators. Victims typically lose account access, personal data or money sent under a false pretext. The page title reads "Powered by CapRover", the default banner of a self-hosted app-deployment platform, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-10-12, 11 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, so the verdict draws on several independent sources. The domain also appears in 34 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it as well. Among the blocklists we check, only PhishDestroy currently lists it, so many browsers and filters may still let it through.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2019-02-27 through 1API GmbH, more than seven years before it came to our attention. An old registration can help a phishing domain avoid filters that distrust newly created sites. It resolves to 65.109.3.127 on Hetzner Online's network, with the server located in Finland. Its TLS certificate was issued by CapRover itself rather than a public certificate authority, which fits a self-managed CapRover deployment.
What to do
