PhishDestroy threat report
telstrawebmailre.weebly.com was a free Weebly site posing as Telstra, titled simply "Telstra". Its subdomain name points at Telstra webmail users, the Australian telecom's email customers. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-11. The page went offline on 2026-09-19, and a check on 2026-10-19 found it dead, with nothing served at the root.
Webmail lures like this usually arrive as an email warning that a mailbox is full, a password is expiring or messages are being held. The link leads to a page dressed in Telstra branding that asks for an email address and password. Anything typed in goes to the operator, not to Telstra. A stolen mailbox lets the attacker reset passwords on other accounts, read billing and personal mail, and send convincing scam emails to the victim's contacts.
On 2026-09-11, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data and Kaspersky. That is a solid result for a page that lived only about a week. urlscan.io rated it malicious and matched it to the Telstra brand on its own analysis, which independently supports the impersonation classification. PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.
The site sat on Weebly's site builder, hosted on Weebly, Inc.'s network in the US. The 2006-03-29 registration date belongs to Weebly's own parent domain, not to this page, so it says nothing about when the operator set up. The scheme relied on a free, disposable subdomain carrying the target brand in its name. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the padlock appeared, and a padlock is no sign a page is genuine.
If you entered a Telstra email password here, change it right away from Telstra's official site or app. Change it on any other account that shares the same password too, and turn on two-factor authentication. Review your mailbox for forwarding rules, unfamiliar recovery details or sent messages you did not write, and warn your contacts if any appear. Be wary of follow-up emails asking you to "verify" your account. Defenders should block Weebly subdomains that combine Telstra branding with webmail wording, report new ones to Weebly, and use this case in staff phishing awareness training.

No. PhishDestroy classifies telstrawebmailre.weebly.com as a Telstra impersonation page (risk: critical, 95/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-11. VirusTotal: 13/89 engines flag it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on telstrawebmailre.weebly.com. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
