PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s automated intake on 2026-10-23 classified the site as malicious. The recorded page title “欧易下载 - 欧易 OKX 帮助中心 | 安装包与安装解答” uses the OKX brand while the domain oxc-okx.com.cn is unrelated to the official OKX domain. The page claims to offer download and registration links, a pattern commonly used for credential phishing or malicious‑software distribution. An HTTP check on the same date returned a 200 response.

How the scam works

Attackers create a site that mimics a legitimate cryptocurrency exchange’s branding and present fake application download or registration forms. Victims who follow such links may inadvertently install malware or surrender login credentials, which can be harvested for unauthorized account access.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-23 and recorded one malicious detection out of 92 engines, with LevelBlue labeling it as phishing.
