PhishDestroy threat report
davidprivateaccount.github.io was a credential phishing page posing as the Bank of America sign-in screen under the title "Bank Of America Login". It targeted Bank of America customers and aimed to collect their online banking logins. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-15. The page went offline on 2026-09-16, and as of 2026-10-19 the site is dead, with nothing served at its root.
Victims arrive through a link in an email, text message or ad that warns of a locked account, a suspicious charge or a required verification. The page copies the look of the Bank of America login so the visitor types in their online ID and passcode without a second thought. Pages like this often follow up by asking for one-time security codes, card details or answers to security questions. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operator, who can use it to sign in to the real account, move money or reset access before the owner notices.
Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address when it was checked on 2026-09-17: alphaMountain.ai, Fortinet, G-Data, Google Safe Browsing, Lionic, MalwareURL and SafeToOpen. That count is modest, but the verdicts that matter for phishing agree. Google Safe Browsing classifies it as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, and urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Bank of America branding on the page. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The page did not use a registered domain of its own. It ran as a free GitHub Pages project site served from Fastly's network in the US, so it inherited a trusted platform address and the certificate that comes with it. Free static hosting like this costs the operator nothing and is easy to throw away. That fits the short lifespan here: the page was gone one day after PhishDestroy first saw it.
If you entered your Bank of America credentials on this page, change your passcode right away from the official app or by typing the bank's address yourself. Change it anywhere else you reuse it, too. Call the bank using the number on the back of your card and tell them which details you gave away, especially any one-time codes or card numbers. Review recent transactions and payees, turn on or reset two-step verification, and watch for follow-up calls or texts from people posing as the bank's fraud team. Defenders should block the hostname, search mail and proxy logs for earlier clicks, and report any similar GitHub Pages copies to GitHub and to Bank of America's abuse contacts.

No. PhishDestroy classifies davidprivateaccount.github.io as a credential phishing page (risk: critical, 100/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-15. VirusTotal: 7/89 engines flag it. Google Safe Browsing flags it. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on davidprivateaccount.github.io. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
