PhishDestroy threat report
coinpsss.com is a crypto impersonation phishing site that presented itself under the page title "CoinP" and targeted people looking for a crypto platform by that name. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. The hosting provider cut it off a day later: the site has been offline since 2026-10-17 and was still blocked when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The domain stretches a short brand-like name into a padded variant, "coinpsss", so it looks plausible in a search result, an ad or a chat message. Once there, visitors see a page branded "CoinP" that is built to pass as the platform they expected. Pages like this usually push visitors to log in, hand over account or recovery details, connect a wallet, or deposit funds. Anything entered goes straight to the operators, and crypto sent to them cannot be recovered.
Google Safe Browsing lists the domain for social engineering, its category for deceptive pages that trick users into giving up data or money. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as a crypto scam. VirusTotal detections are low but meaningful: 3 of 92 engines flagged it, namely alphaMountain.ai, Google Safe Browsing and Gridinsoft, as of 2026-10-16. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, so wallets and security tools that use those lists warn users before the page loads.
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-09-07, 39 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance and kept ready before the campaign was pushed to victims. The site sat behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada, which hides the actual origin server. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the browser padlock only meant the connection was encrypted. It said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
If you entered a password, email or 2FA codes on this page, change that password everywhere you reused it and reset your two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet right away. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted while on the site. Do not send further deposits or "fees" to anyone promising to release funds. Defenders should block the domain, check web and DNS logs for visits since 2026-09-07, and warn users who interacted with it.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
