PhishDestroy threat report
acm.markets presented itself under the title "AC Markets", borrowing a trading brand's name on a lookalike domain to win the trust of traders and crypto users. PhishDestroy classified it as impersonation phishing and first flagged it on 2026-09-04. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
Sites like this copy a familiar brokerage's name and look so that visitors believe they are dealing with the real firm. Victims are typically asked to sign in, open an account or fund a balance. Account credentials, identity details and any money sent are then controlled by the operators, not the brand being imitated. Fake trading portals often show balances that cannot be withdrawn, or demand extra "fees" before releasing funds, which deepens the loss. The ".markets" ending and the short "acm" name are designed to pass a quick glance as a legitimate trading address.
On 2026-09-06, seven of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That count is modest, but it comes from unrelated vendors. Wallet-focused blocklists back it up as well, because MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as a spam domain, and four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, so several separate teams have tracked this host.
The domain was registered on 2026-02-16 through PDR Ltd. (PublicDomainRegistry.com), roughly 200 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That suggests either a long setup period or an earlier campaign that went unnoticed. It sat behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada. Because of that proxy, the origin server was not exposed directly.
If you logged in to acm.markets, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication on your real brokerage and email accounts. If you sent a deposit or shared card or bank details, contact your bank or payment provider immediately and keep your receipts. Do not pay any "withdrawal" or "unlock" fee that follows. If you connected a crypto wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the domain, search proxy and DNS logs for visits between 2026-09-04 and 2026-09-11, and watch for similar "AC Markets" lookalike domains.

No. PhishDestroy classifies acm.markets as a MetaMask impersonation page (risk: critical, 95/100); it was first detected on 2026-09-04. VirusTotal: 7/90 engines flag it. Listed on Spamhaus DBL. Treat the site as unsafe.
No. Do not connect a wallet, sign messages or approve tokens on acm.markets. Phishing sites ask for approvals (approve, setApprovalForAll, Permit2) that let the operator move your assets, and a confirmed transaction cannot be reversed.
Change every password you entered there and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed something, revoke the approvals and move the remaining funds to a new wallet; never share your seed phrase. Step-by-step help: emergency guide.
