Split a link into protocol, host, port, path, query and fragment, as the browser does.
Query String Builder
Use Query String Builder
What it does
Add, edit or remove key/value rows and build a full URL with each key and value percent-encoded. Handy for rebuilding a suspicious link with a dummy value in place of the victim's email before you test it in a sandbox.
It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.
Example
Base URL with the default rows
https://example.com/searchhttps://example.com/search?page=1&limit=20Builds https://example.com/search?page=1&limit=20 from the two default rows (page=1, limit=20); edit or add rows and press Build URL again.
FAQ
How are the parameters encoded?
Each key and value goes through JavaScript's encodeURIComponent, so a space becomes %20, & becomes %26 and é becomes %C3%A9. Rows with an empty key are skipped, and an empty value gives key=.
Can I start from a URL that already has a query string?
No. Enter the base URL without ? or #: the tool appends ? and the parameters to whatever is in the box, so an existing query string ends up with a second ? and parameters after a #fragment land inside the fragment. The base URL itself is used exactly as typed.
Does the tool open or fetch the URL?
No. It only assembles text in your browser; the URL is never requested and nothing you type is uploaded.
