How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the name and look of a service the victim already trusts. An emergency-alert theme adds urgency, because a warning about a safety issue pushes people to act before they think. The victim is led to a login or sign-up form. Whatever they type goes to the operators: account passwords, contact details, and sometimes payment or identity information presented as a "verification" step. Stolen credentials are then reused against the real service and any other account that shares the same password.
Evidence
On 2026-09-30, four of 91 VirusTotal engines classed the site as malicious: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so most security tools would not stop a visit yet. The four vendors reached their verdicts independently of each other, though.
