How the scam works
The domain stacks three trust cues: the Cashmere brand, the word "proposal" to suggest a governance vote, and "exchange" to suggest a trading or swap feature. Pages built this way copy the real project's look and push the visitor to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or enter credentials. A transaction signed there can hand the operator control of tokens, and a recovery phrase typed there gives away the whole wallet. The victim believes they are voting or swapping on Cashmere, but they are acting on a site the project does not control.

Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-11: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar.
